As they said, “Teachers are our second parent”. I doubt it; some teachers can only be a parent to a student if the student is his/her favorite. Why do I say so? It’s because that’s the thing in my school and this is what they have taught me. If a teacher doesn’t like you, he/she will never be your second parent not unless there’s something bad happened to you. I was never be their favorite student as I’m not very intelligent, famous, rich, talkative and active. In our school, that’s what a teacher likes and loves in a student. If you’re not like that, then don’t expect a higher grade because the teacher won’t notice you they won’t even know your name. So you need to be active and talkative for you to become famous. When I was in high school, I’m not that active in memorizing or reciting in front of our class. I’m just good in written class and not in oral. Why? I have certain reasons but without that reasons I can do everything our top students can do. My high school friends, classmates, schoolmates, teachers and my school itself wasn’t the best thing ever for me because I didn’t enjoyed it, they were only the ones who enjoyed it. But the most important is I’m glad that I survived from that terrible nightmare.

P.S. I’m not referring to all teachers out there. If you really read the post then you will know whom I’m referring to.

I feel the same way sis. During HS, since my parents are not active with the PTA meetings, hindi ako famous. Pero okay lang, as long as I have friends who cheered me up and made each day memorable. Oh HS life 😉

That’s sad to know. During my highschool years, all the teachers know all the students. I think their very first task is to know us one by one. It’s quite easy since we only have a small population for a Montessori school. But in college, you really need to excelt, or at least be in tune with the professor. No negative vibes must be around or esle you and your grade will be doomed. I hope you can face your issues with oral lessons. Hmm, speaking of that, I have comm3 (public speaking) class this summer. It’s a required subject and hopefully I’d be okay with it. 🙂
